A sloping town in the region of Pithorgarh in the Uttarakhand state, Chaukori is a lesser known visitor goal. Roosted on a valley and encompassed by the high piles of the Kumaon locale, this town includes nature's merry scenes, unpolluted and calm. Chaukori is situated at the Indo-Tibetan (in the north) and Indo-Nepal (in the south) limits. The picturesque Greater Himalayan pinnacles of Nanda Kot, Panchchuli, Nanda Khat and Nanda Devi are noticeable from here.
